How to make nightcore and sped up songs

The fast, high, energetic version of a song, the opposite of slowed + reverb. Here are the settings that sound right.

Step by step

  1. Open the Nightcore maker and choose a song.
  2. The nightcore settings are already on. Press Preview with effects to listen.
  3. Adjust it (see below), then Convert and Download the MP3.

Nightcore or sped up?

  1. Nightcore: speed 1.20 to 1.30× with the pitch going up too, so voices sound higher and brighter.
  2. Sped up: speed 1.15 to 1.25× but the pitch kept closer to the original, so the singer still sounds like themselves.

Tips

What speed is nightcore?

Usually about 1.2 to 1.3 times the original speed, with the pitch raised as well.
