Vertical 9:16Moving sound waveNo upload

How it works

Open a song

Choose an MP3, a voice note or any audio. The first 30 seconds are selected; drag to pick another part, up to 60 seconds.

Add a title and style

The title comes from the file name; change it if you like. Pick a background style or add a cover image.

Make the video

Press Make video, then Download. Upload the MP4 anywhere.

What the video looks like

A 720×1280 vertical MP4 (9:16), with your cover image or a sound-wave emblem, the title, a white sound wave that moves with the audio and a progress bar. A small melocut.com mark sits at the bottom.

Ideas

  1. Share a song on Instagram or TikTok when the app won't let you post audio on its own.
  2. A slowed + reverb video: open Effects, tap Slowed + Reverb, and the video gets the slowed version. Nightcore and 8D work too.
  3. Podcast or voice note clips: turn on AI noise removal for a clean voice, then post the best 60 seconds.
  4. WhatsApp Status: a song with your own photo as the cover.

Why only up to 60 seconds?

The video is made on your own device, so nothing is uploaded. Making video takes much more work than audio, so we keep clips to 60 seconds, which is what short-video apps want anyway. Phones take a little longer than computers.

Only use music you have the rights to share. Apps like TikTok and Instagram can mute videos with copyrighted songs.

Questions and answers

How do I convert MP3 to MP4?

Open the MP3 here, add a title and a style or cover image, and press Make video. You get an MP4 with a moving sound wave.

Can I add my own picture?

Yes. Choose a cover image: it is shown in the middle and, blurred, as the background.

Is there a watermark?

There is a small melocut.com mark at the bottom of the video. It is how the tool stays free.

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes, in Safari. Making video takes a while because it happens on your device: on a computer about as long as the clip itself, longer on phones. Keep the page open until it is done.
